Hier kommt der Regen wieder
Left Freiburg and basically had a travel day to get back to the Bavaria region. A lot of driving and a lot of rain the first half of the day that prevented us from doing the Rodelbahn in Todtnau (which you can see here https://youtu.be/fBT3E_PGJsM). We did have a sunny rain free short ferry trip across the Bodensee from Konstanz to Meersburg and then pulled into Garmisch-Partenkirchen late at night.
We have noticed a couple things here. One, they use big cranes to build everything, even average sized homes. Two, there are more corn fields than we could count, yet only seen twice in a salad and never listed on menus. This leads us to believe the Germans have a secret colloquial saying, “the only thing that eats corn is livestock and Americans”.
